About The Event

We are very excited to announce... this will be the FIRST YEAR that all surrounding support groups are coming together in support of ONE event focused on Parkinson's Awareness! We will be UNITED for the cause!

The goal of our 5K run and 1K walk-a-thon is to help people better understand this progressive nervous system disorder and offer patients and their families a caring environment full of support.

In 2015, PJ Parkinson's Support Group was created and held it's first walk-a-thon that fall. Now in its fifth year, a 5K run has been added and we working with other support groups in the East Tennessee to increase awareness of Parkinson's Disease and what is being done locally to help those with Parkinson's and their families.
