Come honor Matt Hinkin, “The Weather Guy”. After an illustrious 30-year career as a beloved meteorologist with WATE 6 On Your Side, Matt retired in late 2021 due to his Parkinson’s disease. The uncertainties of Covid-19 delayed plans to appropriately honor Matt, and now the date and event have been planned to celebrate the man that is an inspiration to many and a East Tennessee icon.
